6/26/09 FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS

DEONTAY WILDER KO'S KELSEY ARNOLD IN ROUND 1

Deontay Wilder improves to 6-0, 6 KO's with a 1st round knockout against Kelsey Arnold in Tucson, Arizona. All of Deontay's victories have come in 2 rounds or less. Wilder floored Arnold with a hard right hand and Arnold could not beat the count of ten. "The Bronze Bomber" possesses a good jab and powerful right hand as he demonstrated tonight. Deontay received his nickname after winning a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing, China. He is trained by the great Mark Breland and looks like he will develop into a very good fighter. This 6'7" 24 year old has good balance, agility and hand speed. Once Deontay acquires more ring experience and puts all of his skills together, he will be a force to reckon with in the heavyweight division.
